An Army officer has been charged with making false insurance claims and pocketing a chunk of claims money. According to the prosecution, he filed fraudulent claims dating to 2014 for insurance payments. He also reportedly bought luxury items, which he returned for a refund and later claimed that they were lost or stolen.
